PILATES ESSENTIAL MATWORK

Learn the basic pilates principles though controlled movements and regulated breathing. We’ll focus on proper body positioning to help you get maximum results from all your workouts. You’ll look and feel great from a routine that develops deep core strength and flexibility. Notice a more focused mind, firmer flatter abdominals, a strong back, and improved mobility. Moderately-paced workout suitable for novice to intermediate level clients.

PILATES MIXED LEVEL MATWORK

A total body workout with exercise progressions to accommodate various levels of strength, flexibility, and mobility. We’ll reinforce the basic principles and add in exercises that require more coordination and increased pace as everyone becomes more familiar with the repertoire. We’ll continue to strengthen and tone muscles of the torso, arms, and legs. Notice improved body awareness, posture, and sculpted muscles. Suitable for novice to advanced clients.

POWER PILATES MATWORK

For those familiar with the basic pilates principles, essential and intermediate exercises, and want to add intensity to their workouts to achieve optimal fitness. We’ll continue work on proper form and muscular control and start to add in advanced movements. Workouts will be more intense, energizing and varied. Ideal for the intermediate to advanced client and athletes used to intense training.

REFORMER

The reformer is a versatile pilates apparatus with a gliding carriage and system of springs and pulleys that offer resistance. Exercises are performed while lying, sitting, kneeling, and even standing. On the reformer you’ll work deep core muscles for improved torso stability and alignment, while simultaneously working limbs through a range of movement that effectively lengthens and strengthens muscles without building bulk. Exercises progress to further challenge coordination, stability, and control. Workouts are non-impact and easy on the joints and therefore suitable to a wide range of individuals. Reformer sessions are by appointment and can be combined with matwork. (Please bring sticky socks)

PILATES WITH PROPS

Props may be used in workouts to aid in proper alignment, add resistance, challenge stability, and variety to workouts. Props include resistance bands, foam rollers, BOSU™, STOTT Fitness Circles™, stability balls, hand weights, TRX®, and more. Props are provided or you may bring your own.
